I recently had the privilege of photographing the Vasquez family in their beautiful Palos Verdes home, celebrating the arrival of their firstborn during their first Christmas together. We began in their airy, light-filled bedroom, where the neutral tones and soft textures created a serene backdrop for quiet, intimate moments. The new mom’s sophisticated style, evident in both her wardrobe and home, added a natural elegance to the session. As we moved into the living room, the glow of their Christmas tree brought a festive warmth to the images. Including seasonal elements like a holiday tree anchors the photos in the chapter of life they represent—a reminder of the season their baby was born and the love that filled their home.
